Previous British Broadcasting Corporation Advisers Face Members of Parliament's Grilling After Claims of Prejudice in Unauthorized Memorandum
We start with queries from Conservative MP Caroline Dinenage, that oversees the panel.
She opens by offering background to the leaked document written by Michael Prescott and published in a daily publication.
"I don't want the British Broadcasting Corporation leaning this way or that way, My only wish is for it neutral, fair and fair," he says.
In response to a query if he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is structurally prejudiced, he replies: "Absolutely not. To be clear, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation does is world class - both factual and fictional shows."
However, he continues: "There exists real work that must be undertaken at the British Broadcasting Corporation."
A further previous consultant British Broadcasting Corporation adviser questioned by the committee, Caroline Daniel, says she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation very seriously and that it maintains a "ongoing system and vigorous discourse" regarding fluid and multifaceted subjects.
"Did the BBC ready to conduct a proper discussion and argument and implement changes?" she questions. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
